About Chabad of Flushing
Chabad of Flushing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Jewish community center serving Flushing, Queens, New York and the surrounding neighborhoods of Kew Gardens Hills, Forest Hills, Fresh Meadows, and Briarwood. Founded as part of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, Chabad of Flushing welcomes Jews of every background, observance level, and age to participate in Torah classes, Shabbat services, holiday programs, Hebrew school, adult Jewish education, and life-cycle events.
The Building Campaign
Chabad Flushing is raising funds to complete a 20,000 square-foot Jewish community center at 77-03 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11367. The new building will include a main sanctuary, social hall, Hebrew school classrooms, a teen lounge, library, mikvah, and dedicated space for community programming. Every Chabad donation, large or small, brings the project closer to completion and makes a permanent home for Jewish life in Queens possible.
How Your Chabad Donation Is Used
Donations to Chabad of Flushing fund construction of the new community center, weekly Shabbat and holiday services, the Hebrew school for children, free adult Torah classes, hospital and home visits to community members in need, holiday meal programs, Passover Seders, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, and emergency assistance for Jewish families experiencing hardship.
Why Donate to Chabad
